So far behind

In February we went and visited the Waddell family in Oklahoma. It was a long drive across 4 states but it was so very worth every minute of the drive :) We left home early Thursday morning, spent Thursday night in Albuquerque, NM and we arrived at the Waddell's home early Friday afternoon. Amber thought that it would just be David, Christy, Treyven, baby David and I coming but we surprised her with bringing mom. That was the best present ever for Amber. We went for Buddy's baptism.
Here's Treyven in his chair on the drive. We travelled in mommas van. Treyven got to sit in the very back and he got to sit forward facing. We figured that would be better so he could interact with all of us on the drive. Treyven did better than I thought he would on the long drive. Only his mom isn't very smart and didn't pack any toys for him so we had to stop at Wal-Mart in Page, AZ and buy him a couple toys.
 Best Buddies
Treyven loved Keith (maybe to much). Treyven was always trying to give Keith hugs. Poor Keith is not used to so much love. Treyven knocked him over quite a few times.
Treyven is ready to go! He loves being outside.
Treyven had a makeshift bed in the hotel. We decided not to pack a playpen and just let him sleep on a mound of blankets.
Treyven loves helping take care of David. Here he is swinging baby, even though the swing has batteries in it :)
Mom decided to put both boys in the crib and see what would take place. For a few minutes both boys just laid there, then Treyven decided that he needed to give loves (maul) to David so mom had to take David out. David still sleeps in his co-sleeper in mom and dads room and Treyven still sleeps in his crib.
We blessed David on March 3rd. Here is Treyven holding him.
 More brotherly love!
When we were at Aunt Amber's house she bought us a few things. One of the things she bought us was Nutella. We are poor so Nutella is a rare treat in our home. One morning for breakfast we had waffles with Nutella. As you can see Treyven really enjoyed his Nutella.
Treyven talking to Grandma Bushar on the phone.

Treyven just keeps growing and learning new things constantly. He loves to play with his legos and play outside. He likes to read and he likes to say the prayer. When we eat we pull his highchair right up to the table so that he feels like part of the family. Treyven tries so hard to help with David, sometimes to much. Treyven knows lots of words. He calls all drinks juice. He likes to take our hand and lead us to what he wants. He really likes sweet things. He is such a good boy. He loves nursery.
