Catchin Up
Mom gets so busy and she does not take time to blog so here's whats going on with Treyven. He will be two in July. WOW, time goes by so fast. Treyven LOVES his little brother. On April 26th we moved Treyven to the big bedroom in the back and now he sleeps on the bottom bunk instead of the crib. Now both boys sleep in their room and mom and dad love it. Treyven likes to say prayers, he likes to brush his teeth. Dad lets him pick out what shirt he is going to wear for the day. Treyven loves to be outside. He cries when he has to come in. He has figured out how to drive the little battery powered jeep we have. He does not like Sacrament meeting. He is usually out in the hall with one parent, if he has to sit in the overflow he screams. Mom and dad are so frustrated and are not sure the best way to teach him the importance of Sacrament meeting. At least he goes to nursery so mom and dad can listen in their other meetings. Most of the time people are good about not saying anything or giving us dirty looks. Occasionally people aren't so kind, listen peeps we sit in the very back for a reason, if you want to hear and feel the Spirit maybe you should sit in the Chapel! Treyven has figured out that if he opens the stove or the dishwasher that he can climb up on the doors and reach things on the counters. We now have to check the oven before turning it on in case there is a toy or who knows what else inside. And sometimes it takes twice as long to run the dishwasher cause he likes to open the door. He still calls all fruit apples and all drinks juice. Treyven likes to get into things that he knows he shouldn't. He is a trial at times but we love him so very much. He makes life interesting.
Catch up blogging
This has happend more than once. Treyven likes to color and not always on paper.
He thought it was his turn to drive.
We went to an Easter egg hunt at Vernon Worthen park. THey had different areas separated by age group. Mom went in with Treyven and pointed out candy. She was not allowed to pick up any for him. At first Treyven gor mad because after he picked up his first piece of candy he wanted to eat it and he didn't understand why mom said no. He came away with some dots, tootsie rolls and a few plastic eggs that had hard candy in them.
After the Easter egg hunt in town we went to the cabin in Pine Valley and had lunch and an Easter egg hunt with the Bushars. Treyven go a ton of candy and money. He had caught onto the concept at this point and was so excited to go find all the eggs.
Treyven loves his little brother.
Dad and Treyven reading with Treyven's special three D glasses on.
Look at that pose. What a stud in his new pj's.
Feet!!!
Mom say cheese! He was taking a picture of mom with dads camera.
Treyven loves to wrestle with his little brother. We have to watch close though and keep it clean.
Rule #1 No sitting on your brothers head!
Mom got these boys matching shirts at Gymboree and of course had to take a picture of them being all matchy matchy.
Day old bread from Jimmy Johns is the best!
Treyven ate practically the whole loaf himself :)
Just playing around.
What a crazy boy.
Treyven wanted to steal the show!!
Mom he's heavy, take him please. Treyven loves to hold little brother but he lets you know as soon as he is done.
Look at the little stud in his overalls. Mom just has to take lots of pictures of her boys cause they are so darn cute.
Are you hiding in the corner so you can suck your thumb?
This drawer is not for toys it's for little boys!
Ready for a walk.
Treyven no longer sleeps in the crib. He gets to sleep in his new big boy room in a big boy bed!
And potty training attempt number two. Mom really wants him potty trained before he's two. Two more months to go.
Treyven could care less about food. If there is sauce that's what he's all about. Give the boy a spoon!
The book shelf in the closet is the perfect hiding place.
Watching Despicable Me for probably the fourth time this day. His new favorite movies are cars and Despicable me. He will watch them over and over again.
Mom and dad are trying to eat a little healthier by starting the morning off with a shake. Guess who else loves the shakes. Treyven! Which is great, remember the food pictures above. Treyven loves to eat crap so when he gobbled down this spinach avocado smoothie and wanted more what kind of mom would I be if I said no.

So far behind
In February we went and visited the Waddell family in Oklahoma. It was a long drive across 4 states but it was so very worth every minute of the drive :) We left home early Thursday morning, spent Thursday night in Albuquerque, NM and we arrived at the Waddell's home early Friday afternoon. Amber thought that it would just be David, Christy, Treyven, baby David and I coming but we surprised her with bringing mom. That was the best present ever for Amber. We went for Buddy's baptism.
Here's Treyven in his chair on the drive. We travelled in mommas van. Treyven got to sit in the very back and he got to sit forward facing. We figured that would be better so he could interact with all of us on the drive. Treyven did better than I thought he would on the long drive. Only his mom isn't very smart and didn't pack any toys for him so we had to stop at Wal-Mart in Page, AZ and buy him a couple toys.
Best Buddies
Treyven loved Keith (maybe to much). Treyven was always trying to give Keith hugs. Poor Keith is not used to so much love. Treyven knocked him over quite a few times.
Treyven is ready to go! He loves being outside.
Treyven had a makeshift bed in the hotel. We decided not to pack a playpen and just let him sleep on a mound of blankets.
Treyven loves helping take care of David. Here he is swinging baby, even though the swing has batteries in it :)
Mom decided to put both boys in the crib and see what would take place. For a few minutes both boys just laid there, then Treyven decided that he needed to give loves (maul) to David so mom had to take David out. David still sleeps in his co-sleeper in mom and dads room and Treyven still sleeps in his crib.
We blessed David on March 3rd. Here is Treyven holding him.
More brotherly love!
When we were at Aunt Amber's house she bought us a few things. One of the things she bought us was Nutella. We are poor so Nutella is a rare treat in our home. One morning for breakfast we had waffles with Nutella. As you can see Treyven really enjoyed his Nutella.
Treyven talking to Grandma Bushar on the phone.
Treyven just keeps growing and learning new things constantly. He loves to play with his legos and play outside. He likes to read and he likes to say the prayer. When we eat we pull his highchair right up to the table so that he feels like part of the family. Treyven tries so hard to help with David, sometimes to much. Treyven knows lots of words. He calls all drinks juice. He likes to take our hand and lead us to what he wants. He really likes sweet things. He is such a good boy. He loves nursery.

18 Months
Treyven's hair is getting long again but mom does not want anyone to cut it.
She is worried because of how it turned out last time.
We celebrated Dad's birthday by going to Red Robin for lunch. Treyven and dad had a good time coloring his menu. Treyven got a toasted bun for lunch (he's a picky eater).
On the 30th Treyven reached his 18 month mark.
On Sunday the 27th Treyven went to nursery for the first time. He really enjoyed going and had no problem leaving dad. Mom knew he would be fine with it :)
Here are his 18 months stats:
Weight: 24 lbs 5.5 oz 29%
Height: 33.5 inches 73%
Head: 19.25 inches 63%
Treyven is so stinkin smart. He knows so many words and understands so many things. He still sleeps in the crib and will for a few more months. He is wearing size 4 diapers, despite all of moms wishes to have him potty trained at 18 months. He is a "Holy" terror in Sacrament meeting. He loves to be outside, he loves to vacuum, mop, sweep and help with laundry. He just likes to help clean and mom loves that. He loves his little brother so much! He is always willing to help burp brother, feed brother and hold him. Treyven loves bath time and nap time. He still sucks his thumb, hard enough to cause blisters and take skin off and he loves having a blankie with him. He doesn't like shopping and he is very picky about what he eats.
Eating the cheese out of a mozzarella stick.
Vacuuming
He cries when the vacuum gets put away.
He found brothers binkie. Treyven never was a binkie baby. Sometimes he will find brothers and put it in his mouth just to be funny
Helping with the laundry :)
We sure love him and we are blessed to have him in our family.
